A silly thing my brain has been stuck on all day is how one of Alito’s reasons for accepting a ride on a chartered plane was that flying commercial would “have imposed a substantial cost and inconvenience on the deputy U.S. Marshals who would have been required for security reasons”.
Which I read as: rich people on a private flight and at this lodge can be trusted, but the plebes on Alaska Airlines can’t?
I probably shouldn’t start my day with Alito opinions. π
