I had the same issue, and tried a lot but nothing helped. By chance, I found out that the error has nothing to do with Linux but instead stems from the fact the my router was configured to transmit both on 2.4 GHz AND 5 GHz at the same time, with the same SSID. I solved the problem by simply disabling the 2.4 GHz band, but I’m confident that it could also be fixed by giving different SSID’s to both frequencies. The change fixed the problems both for Linux as well as for Windows 10 (which also lost connection all the time).
