It goes without saying that Rupert Murdoch can be a polarizing figure. And while I usually find the stuff he says on Twitter borderline ridiculous, 140 characters can offer a fascinating view at the way somebody thinks.
Early this morning, he made mention of the wide variety of Sunday papers available in London. That tweet was mundane, but one of the exchanges that followed was interesting enough to think about.
Don’t mind the Twitter Cards, they have a mind of their own…
London again. 8 lively, different Sunday papers. Some great writing, some fun, some hysterical but happy change from boring Sunday NYT.

@rupertmurdoch Make a Sunday WSJ. Also, say what you want but my family fights over NYT Sunday mag, real estate, travel and Review.

@SettonIsaac Yes, but not the news.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a Sunday NYT, so I can’t say for sure. I know I do enjoy the weekend Guardian stuff when I have a chance. But either way, that line is pretty killer and was fun enough to note – “Yes, but not the news.”
