Zen Habits had a great guest post yesterday called 55 Ways to Get More Energy. It ran through 55 different (mostly natural) ways to boost your energy throughout the day, taking the time to specifically mention avoiding energy drinks and using coffee/caffeine in moderation. Then, at the end of the feed (in Google Reader), they displayed an advertisement for the “Extreme” Red Energy Patch that appears to go against everything in the article. It will be nice one day when things can be written and ads can Really be served up correctly. Imagine if you knew while you were writing that energy drinks might pop up as an option in advertising and you could add “energy drinks” as a negative category so the ad company would know not to display that ad. Could be cool.
