Wrapping It Up For The Night

I’m about to head off to bed, so I decided to wrap up my browser tabs and cruise through the things I had waiting to read. Here’s what I’m stuck on at the moment:

  1. Web 3.0 is an unknown. Web 2.0 was a marketing term that ended up meaning something, so I was trying to discover what the meaning of Web 3.0 may be. What I’ve found is that you can’t recreate marketing magic that easy, so nobody will really be able to figure out what Web 3.0 is until it’s gone. That is unless O’Reilly trademarks it and defines it.
  2. The Revolution Of Me appears that it will be an interesting read, so I’ll save it for later. From what I can tell so far, it’s about the disintegration of self and/or our personal networks as a direct result of the growing amount of contact we have outside of our personal “box”.
  3. [1] NewsJunk [dot] com is a service created by Dave Winer that does what it sounds like. Gives news (especially politics) junkies their fix. I’ve had it up all day and have watched the river go by. I’ll keep on browsing through it for interesting stuff.

That’s it for now. There’s plenty of stuff still up, but now I can close it down to a few tabs and walk away.
