Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Charlie Kaufman seems to have this talent to make me like actors I normally can’t stand. He surprised me with Adaptation and wrote Nick Cage‘s character so well that I was completely amazed. Now, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind has given Kate Winslet another chance. I think Kaufmann does so good with the script that a couple monkeys could be acting the parts and they would be brilliant. Add Michel Gondry into the mix and you have movie magic. Except for Kirsten Dunst, she’s just annoying all the time. Good writing can’t help that.

Don’t ask me why I waited so long to see it, but I’m glad that I finally did. If you haven’t yet, I would suggest renting it immediately. In fact, I think I’ll probably watch it again tomorrow.
