Our house, in the middle of our street….
Yeah, you guessed it. Anything that Google buys, I will eventually try, including Keyhole, the scary cool addition to Google’s rapidly expanding family.
Now, if it is possible, I am amazed, disturbed, and disappointed all at the same time. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cool. But not cool enough to warrant spending $29.95 a year on it. Not until high-res images are available all over the place.
I mean, getting a couple thousand feet away from the 7-11 that you go to every morning is cool and all, but not really necessary. I want to be able to see the advertisements on the windows of the 7-11. Not like that does me any good either, but it would be cool.
I will admit that I am slightly disturbed because of the ease in zooming in on somebody’s house, but not really enough to care that much. I mean, it’s not like you can spy on anybody more than once every few years when the images are updated. I think the part I’m most disturbed by is the fact that this is pretty detailed and it’s not even close to what can be done. I want to see what can be done, that might freak me out. To really amaze me, they need to incorporate this with Mapquest technology so that I can open up Keyhole, type in 2 addresses and actually look at the roads I’m going to be traveling on. That would be cool. Blabber, blabber, blabber, I’m done now…
work looks so evil…
